Contact details for simulation portal (sims.biz)

You may access a simulation using an anonymous login which is not tied to any personal information. You will be able to login to the simulation server, but will not receive any messaging or notifications from the simulation server.

The decision to use non-anonymous vs anonymous accounts is made by the customer when ordering the sessions for a programme. Data held for non-anonymous accounts is supplied by the customer themselves. The lawful basis for processing of this data is legitimate interest in providing the service ordered by the customer.

Users of the simulation portal fall into two categories: participants and facilitators (also known as instructors). The following notes apply to both categories of user.

For non-anonymous user accounts, data held is limited to the following:

  • email address
  • full name

This data is held solely for the purpose of enrolling users onto the simulation platform, and to allow messaging between team members, the facilitator, and the simulation server, for the duration of a simulation session. Simulation sessions may happen over a period of time anywhere between an hour to several weeks. Data is not shared.

Thereafter, this data is not used. When no longer in use, sessions will be closed, which de-activates the logins associated with that session. After a session is closed, the details held for non-anonymous accounts are not used for any other purpose.
